Local.com® Names Steven Schindler Vice President of Marketing

Local.comCorporation (NASDAQ: LOCM), Corporation (NASDAQ: LOCM), a leading local search site and network, today announced that Steven Schindler has joined the company as vice president of marketing.
Schindler joins Local.com from Sasa Technologies in San Diego, a Web 2.0 content aggregator, where he served as co-founder and president. In his new role, Schindler will be responsible for leading and managing Local.comâ??s marketing initiatives and branding efforts, and will report to Bruce Crair, Local.com president and chief operating officer.

Before co-founding Sasa Technologies, Schindler headed Schindler Marketing Group, Inc., a San Diego-based brand development, advertising and public relations firm. Previously, Schindler held an advertising management position at Ballyâ??s Resort and Casino, and has worked in account management for various other advertising and branding agencies. He holds a bachelor of science degree in business administration from San Diego State University and studied international business at the University of Copenhagen in Denmark.
